Not only is this not up to the standard of Fritz Lang, it's not even up to Marty Zion's best work--both "Club Inferno" & "Space 2077" are done better, albeit in the same style. This one has all of Zion's trademarks: the jump-cuts, the gloss & glamor, the sexy outfits, the music, the lighting, the stylized settings & backdrops. The women dance, strip, writhe, tease, and eventually suck & fuck. But alas, it all seems a bit humdrum this time around, & the women aren't (in my estimate) A-list talent...with the notable exceptions of Pason & the utterly adorable Sarah Blake, who put on the kind of 2-girl stage show you're always hoping to see at your local strip club (but never do). Their scene is worth repeat viewings; but the rest of "Metropolis" is forgettable.

I've complained long and hard about all of the adult videos that feel the need to insert either too much slow-motion action or too much MTV-style rapid pace editing. METROPOLIS uses both styles, but relies on neither entirely. Along with these, we also get the classic "real time" style sex, and together, the three bring this together to be quite a great film. The sets are bizarre in their neon lights, and the women are hot. Best of all is a scene involving self-professed MILF Vicky Vette, a blonde brickhouse who will make every viewer forget those skinny little "barely legal" types. This woman has it going on, and her threesome with two men is fantastic.

Ok, where should I start? Well, I bought this DVD in a video shop for the price of $10.00 in used condition and couldn't believe it as I watched the whole thing!
Nasty girls, one hotter than the other one and sex scenes I never saw before in that way in an adult film! All scenes in this masterpiece of new age porn are built on a mtv-stylish music video and the female performers stripping down their clothes, make the guys hot and do it with them very well. I must say, that my dick was hard before the girls were naked in the first scene! But now something to the scenes:

The end result is Brittany Andrews sharing Cynthia Pendragon with Billy Tyler in an abstract exterior of a rooftop with a the cityscape in the background; Pason and newbie Sarah Blake in a girl/girl strap-on scene with film footage of movement in the city running in the background; Dolorian and Evan Stone on a stage with neon signs of various merchandisers on the walls that is something one would expect to find in a Broadway musical rather than an adult video; Nina Dolci pairs up Anthony Hardwood in a moonlit courtyard; and Vicky Vette does a d.p. with Alex Rox and Tristan Seagal on a penthouse rooftop, with the skyscrapers of the citys skyline providing atmospheric lighting.

Final Thoughts: This is a must have dvd! The only thing I can ctiticize is the fact, that you can't hear the actors in the most parts of the film, because the music is very dominant but that shouldn't be a reason to don't watch this brilliant produced piece of quality porn! Get it now!
