The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced and I didn?t notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and also looks very nice. There?s just a touch of grain, but the camera work is smooth and the lighting is even.

Music: The music is nicely done. It rests very quietly in the background, and there were times I barely even knew it was there. It helps out the scenes and doesn?t feel overdone or overly porno.

Menus: The main menu is okay and gives you a still with a little animation and the choices. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the girl in it.

The Feature

Breaking & Entering takes the standard Penthouse Letters format with readers writing in about their sexual experiences. This time there?s a touch of domination to the stories.

The lead-ins for the vignettes are a bit generic with things like the cop, the doctor, and the stripper, but the cast handles them with such a fun feeling that it?s hard to get down on them too much for being generic. The action is nicely captured through each scene, and although the editing is sometimes a touch choppy it isn?t too bad. I think Roxy?s scene was my favorite here, but the only thing that really didn?t work about the movie for me was Nick Manning due to his usual misogynistic attitude. Breaking & Entering isn?t anything wildly different or new, but it brings a nice touch of kinkiness into a couples movie, and plays right with some subjects that otherwise would come off as overly porno generic.

This is a nice little DVD.
