The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As with most compilations, there's a little variety to the technical aspects, but since Smash puts some very nice attention towards their technical aspects in their releases there isn't a lot of variation here. The audio is clear and well balanced, although there are a couple very minor background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format, and also looks very nice. The camera work is smooth and nicely lit, but there is just a hint of grain.

Music: There's a little music here and there, but nothing too worth mentioning.

Menus: The main menu nicely works through stills of the girls from the boxcover before settling in on a still of Naomi with the choices for a nice first impression. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in it. There's also a positions menu to let you jump directly to sex acts such as blowjobs, doggie, or cumshots.

Wide Ass is a darn hot compilation release. The scenes here all nicely showcase girls with nice big asses, and there's a very nice mix of scenes as well. Sunny Lane's scene is one of my personal favorites from Smash's movies, and it's hard to go wrong with Katrina Kraven and Georgia Peach. Sara and Carmen's scenes are the weakest here due to the editing, which will no doubt be hit or miss for people, and the audio, but there's still plenty to like about them. In the end, the only thing to really hold Wide Ass back is that there's nothing to let the viewer know that it's a compilation and that they can find more darn hot scenes like the ones here in other releases. To me, this is a must for a great comp, and something that should go without saying. If you like the style of Carmen's scene, for example, it's very nice to know that there's three entire movies with scenes like it, and the same can be said for Sara's scene. It shouldn't take much to list this at the start of each girl's scene, or for even less effort, to do a full cast listing by scene listing the players in each scene along with the movie it comes from or to list it with the girl's name in the chapter menu. Wide Ass is a great collection of sex with big butt babes, but a little more thought towards the viewer would have helped out this release as well as potentially drawing them to other Smash releases.

The sex is hot and there's a nice mix of action. The technical aspects are nicely done, but as usual with compilations, there isn't a lot of effort put into the extras. This is a hot compilation, and well worth checking out if you don't have all the original scenes.
