"The Girl Next Door 2" from Combat Zone hit the streets in September and all of the talk about this release centered on cover girl Sasha Grey. She has created an amazing buzz in the industry and interestingly, quite a bit of it came even before anyone had seen her movies. Well you get a good look here and you can judge for yourself if she meets the expectations of all the Summer hype.

The 2nd installment of "Girl Next Door" picks up right where the first left off. Featuring girls that are new talent in porn in 2006 and in addition to Sasha there are some interesting,new faces to check out here. Of this latest collection, I especially liked Ashley Anne and Celina Cross.... Ashley has a terrific,curvy body and her pretty face is accentuated by a pair of glasses in her scene. She's obviously inexperienced and that just seemed to add an interesting dynamic. And if you enjoy a nice big butt (and I do) she's got a great ass....Celina Cross also has some nice curves and I think she's got that little something extra in the nastiness department that merits keeping an eye on her future work.

But "Girl Next Door 2" is all about Sasha Grey. She's on the cover and it seems everyone has been buzzing about her all Summer. Prior to seeing her scene here, I had already taken a look at her work in "Barely Legal 62" and "I'm A Big Girl Now 6" and quite honestly I wasn't overly impressed. I do think she has a great look. Definitely the girl next door, with a very innocent,pretty face, smooth, beautiful skin and a great ass....Her appeal is obviously that she's interested in pushing the boundaries and this scene is a great example of that. It's one of the first that she filmed and already she's having anal sex and even doing a DP in this one. Definitely not the norm in today's porn where there's usually a pretty slow build-up to those type of acts in the career of a young,popular actress. And while Sasha's energy level seems high in this scene, as well as the others I mentioned, I just never got the feeling she was getting off. There's lots of dirty talk and pretty intense action, but I kept thinking it seemed a bit forced. A bit over the top for the sake of being over the top. I certainly will look at more of the many scenes she's already filmed with a hope that the best is yet to come.

The BTS is good, and like all of the other Combat Zone releases I've seen, they seem to do a nice job with BTS including some candid moments and nice discussion with the performers.

Overall this is a solid,but not spectacular release. For Sasha Grey fans I would reccomend this one for purchase. If you're not a fan, or haven't seen her yet, it is certainly worth a look.....I do want to add that Combat Zone continues to put out very high quality product. Everything from the production values to the fantastic box cover art work is top notch. They're not afraid to spend money on top tier talent either..It's refreshing to see such great attention to detail.
