Initial Expectations: The little I've seen of this series has been pretty average. I'm not expecting much beyond that here.

Initial Reaction: It's pretty good, but lacks the spark to take it from good to great.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. The scenes are well lit, and although there's a touch of grain and a little camera motion neither ever detracts from the movie.

Menus: The main menu is pretty generic, and gives the cover still with a small clip from the movie. The chapter menu shows a bit of effort, and lets you choose a scene based on a still of each girl's face, their name, and a clip from their scene.

The Feature

The Heavy Duty series keeps things very simple. Although the title might make one think that this is about big girls, instead it's about girls with big tits. Each scene starts out with the girl putting on a quick little tease before being joined by a guy or two to show what she can do.

Being an anal cream pie fan the ending was a much enjoyed treat to finish the movie, and left me no reason to doubt its authenticity. This is a very hot scene and my favorite in the movie.

Heavy Duty 3 is a nicely done but extremely straightforward movie. The scenes all get to the action quickly rather than spending a little time with the tease and the camera is almost always drawn to the penetration with plenty of gyno-cam shots. There's nice chemistry in many of the scenes, but it's never allowed to fully grab hold due to the camera work seeming like it's completely hypnotized by the penetration and never moves far enough away to focus on the full effect of the sex between the performers. That said, Nikki Sexx and Phoenix Marie each turned out great scenes with the others all following behind at a decent distance. There isn't a bad scene in the movie, but there were numerous times when I couldn't help but feel that a minor change or two could have made the scene even hotter. Heavy Duty 3 is a good movie that had the potential to be great with a touch more effort.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with about six seconds per nice looking snapshot. There's also weblinks, cumshot recaps, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little under seventeen minutes. After Andi poses for a few stills, Madison shows off while chatting a little. Nikki also has a few fun words while getting ready before Phoenix shows off a fun personality as well as great tits. Beverly shares a few laughs as well as a bit of eye candy. This is a nice behind the scenes featurette. There's some nice personality and a bit of eye candy that always has a fun and friendly feeling. This is an enjoyable extra that adds nicely to the overall DVD.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Diabolic's releases can be found online for between about $18 and $25 with most stores offering them near the high end. The low end isn't too bad for what you get here. There's definitely some hot sex, but there's also quite a few times when I couldn't help but think that a minor change in the camera angle could have made the scene even hotter. The technical aspects are nicely done and there's also a bit of effort put into the extras. This is a good movie on a DVD that shows some good care.
