The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single background noise. The video is presented in the full frame format, and looks very nice. There's a touch of grain, but it isn't so much as to interfere with the action. It's also very nicely lit, with very few shadows to interfere with the action. There is a decent amount of slow motion action, but it doesn't interfere with the movie here like it does with many other movies.

Music: The music is nicely done. It has the style used in many couples movies and is very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Disc Complaints: The boxcover lists a running time of 1 hour 35 min, but the movie only lasts 1 hour 10 min. I guess this is a total running time for the DVD, but with a length that short this seems a bit deceptive and there's nothing to state that it's to be the total run time for the DVD rather than just the movie, as most people would seem to expect. Plenty of people will check out a movie that's over an hour and a half, but an hour and ten minutes seems extremely short. I'm deducting a half point from the overall score because of this, and more that happy that Private's stopped this practice.

Menus: The main menu is pretty simple, and gives a clip of the movie with part of the cover. It also works in a chapter menu.

The Feature

Rich Bitch collects three vignettes which are unrelated with the exception of all having fetish elements to them.

Rich Bitch is a nicely done vignette film. There is a bit of camera mugging, but it's quite rare overall and is normally reserved just for the popshots. There's some nice consistency to the sex as well, with no scene really standing out above or below the rest. That said, I think I enjoyed the Rich Bitch story the best, for the simple reason that I really liked how it showed a balance between the girls fantasizing about being in control and with Frank fantasizing about being in control. As for complaints, there is a part of me that really wishes they would have gotten into the fetishwear aspect a little better, as some of the costumes seemed very mild. Yes, I know I've been forever ruined by Tanya Hyde's work, but this did come off as very soft in many ways. It makes up for it to me due to its variety of fetish action, including plenty of foot and shoe worship, food play, and a little domination. Rich Bitch is a short release, but still a very enjoyable one.

The Report behind the scenes featurette lasts just over twenty minutes and follows the making of the movie around St. Maarten. It nicely mixes interviews with the girls with shots of them on the beach and in action. There also seems to be a fair amount of footage from XXX 5, and possibly other titles, which appears to have been shot at the same time. The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Private's DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $32 with a few stores offering them for under $20. If you like sex with a fetish twist, this one should be well worth your money. It's hot and has a nice variety, as well as good technical aspects. There's also some nice effort put into the extras. This might be an older DVD, but it still shows some very nice care.
