"American Daydreams" is one of Naughty Americas so-called "specialty" series. Just like the rest of the Naughty America series, this video is really just five separate videos that members can download from their website, converted over to DVD format for those of you who are a little hesitant to put some coin down for a recurring subscription. While other Naughty America series are based on a certain specialty such as Latin maids or schoolteachers or horny older mothers, "American Daydreams" is simply a straightforward fantasy series. Or at least its supposed to be. Seemingly normal and boring situations are "re-imagined" with a much more explicit outcome.

Scene 1: "Girls Weekend" with Julia Bond and Alektra Blue

We start out with the two girls walking into a vacation house. They get to walk around the place, talking about the fact that the others havent shown up yet and what a great time theyll have. They change clothes and walk back into the living room and continue their conversations. The lead-in story is pretty solid, although, if it really was a dream, wouldnt Alektras toy already be in the room? Id also be curious to see what Julia was dreaming as well. They could have broken down the scene into two separate dreams to play on the idea that Julia was at least thinking about Alektras offer. As it was, it seemed to drag on just a little longer than it needed to.

Scene 2: "The Water Boy" with Angel Long

We start with our unnamed water boy delivering jugs of water over the porch. Much like another Naughty America video Ive reviewed in the past, theres both good and bad news to report. The good news is that there are NO forced trailers and the menu is pretty simple. In fact, the scene selections are a little more detailed in that they can get you to some of the best portions of each scene. The bad news is that aside from a single-page text promo for their various Naughty America websites, there are NO extras. There is no opening title, there is no end title, there are no trailers whatsoever, and we dont know who the guys are in this video. We only know who the female stars are because their names are on the cover.

All-in-all this is an okay video. The scenes with Sophia and Nadia really carry the rest of the video. The rest leave much to be desired. Some of the girls are obviously easy on the eyes, but the rest really need to lay off the body art. The folks at Naughty America are very good at sticking with their specialty theme, which is always a plus, but some of the stories leading into the daydream scenes could have used a little more work. And as I said in a previous review, if Naughty America put as much into post-production as they do for their websites, this would have been an outstanding video. As it is, I can only recommend it if youre a fan of either Sophia or Nadia, and then only if you can get this on the cheap. If youre paying more than $15 for this DVD, then youre paying way too much.
