Hawaii Dream Girls (as per the URL on the back cover) and a photo of women nude outside on the Islands of Hawaii, what could be better? Too bad this feature doesn't live up to my expectations, lets explore why.

This is a compilation DVD, featuring five scenes. All scenes include Kina Kai, the star of the movie. She is paired with one other girl in each scene. For a movie from hawaiidreamgirls.com, I'd expect all of the girls to have an Island look to them. From the cover we can see that this isn't the case.

Scene 1 is with Christina, a woman with the classic Hawaii "look". They are on a lava outcrop in a protected cove. They play in the water, fondle each other, toss in some oral action, then go to the toys (without batteries) in a dual masturbation finale.

Next up is Nyomi, the girl shown on the front cover. She does not have the Island look. For anyone who has been to Hawaii, you'll recognize the classic beaches in this scene. They splash in a tidal pool, play with their tits, a bit of oral and end with some fingering. Those with a keen eye will see the security/lookouts posted up the beach, they are dressed in yellow.

Third is Vanessa, certainly not the island look. They are on a boat, out on the water, the shore seen off in the distance. This could have been shot anywhere, so the island mystique is lost in this scene. Apparently they lost it real good, as it doesn't return for the remainder of the movie. There is some fondling, fingering, oral and toys. They are a bit more vocal, probably because they don't have to worry about being discovered since they are on a boat.

The island look returns with Jasmine, but the scene takes place indoors on a couch. It is a "Girls Night" theme skit, with some fondling, tit play, oral and a toy that got lost in the couch. These scene could have been filmed anywhere, the island mystique is still lost.

Last up is Tia, who doesn't have the island look. The skit for this one is "Drunk after a Party" and takes place in a hotel room. Much the same action as the other scenes, but they do add in wine showers, and use a wine bottle as a dildo. However, due to the crappy editing of this scene, we miss the actual insertion of the bottle. How lame is that? They left out the best part of the scene!

There is no bonus material on this DVD.

The audio is fine, there is music overlays for parts of the scenes, so you miss some of the sounds of the ocean, for the scenes that actually take place outside. When there isn't music, you can sometimes hear the still camera being used in the background.

The video is clear, but soft and there is some washout due to the sunshine. The camera moves a lot, and one time the second camera was caught in the frame, but wasn't edited out of the movie. There is a dramatic color difference between the two cameras, making the transition between them abrupt, not nearly as seamless as it should have been.

All of the action in this movie is geared towards the sensual rather than the hardcore, which was a bit disappointing.

Overall, not real impressed with this movie. Poor editing, mismatched cameras, non-island women, and three scenes shot in nondescript locations. Basically, a big disappointment all around, I'd recommend skipping this title.

Oh, did I mention that the sand gets everywhere (and I do mean EVERYWHERE)?
