Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is a bit weak, and surprisingly presented in anamorphic widescreen. The lighting is pretty well done and the camera work is steady, but there are times it gets a little sloppy with the boom mike coming into view.

The Movie: After over a decade in the adult industry, Scott Styles feels like a bit of an expert. Due to hearing plenty of stories of bad sex and being asked plenty of questions, he's decided to pass on some of what he's learned with the help of assistants Lexi Belle, Audrey Bitoni, and Brooke Banner. He talks about the importance of communication and making women feel sexy, as well as reminding viewers that although every woman is different there are some things that almost all women like. As he guides viewers through lovemaking with Lexi, Audrey, and Brooke, he talks about what he's doing and why, as well as occasionally letting the girls chime in about their likes and dislikes without every turning it into a conversation.

Cute dirty blondes Lexi and Scott talk a bit about foreplay before Scott demonstrates a little pussy eating with a few breaks to talk about what he's doing and why. Lexi sucks him in return with a few comments from each of the girls about what they like giving blowjobs. Scott talks about the importance of lube before fucking Lexi missionary style and letting her ride him cowgirl style. He also takes her in doggie as well as getting in a little more missionary work before they stop without a pop to work on positions with Audrey.

Scott talks about the difference between porn positions and real life positions as busty brunette Audrey strokes him before she lets him know that she'd like to start in doggie. They move on with missionary as Scott and Audrey talk about why they like each position as well as giving a couple tips as well as cowgirl. They also spoon before moving on with Brooke.

After a couple comments about finishing, Scott pulls into Brooke doggie style. They move on with a bit of reverse cowgirl and titty fucking before spooning. They also get in a bit of missionary work before Scott pops on Brooke's stomach and they talk about what they like after sex.

How to Be a Better Love: Bedroom Basics is a pretty sad instructional release. I'm not saying that because it's bad information, but because it's so light, limited, and dumbed down that I really can't see it helping anyone who isn't in their mid forties and still living in their parent's basement and playing Dungeons & Dragons. The girls are cute and add a bit of information, but more than anything this release seems like an ego trip for Scott as the comments the girls make never seem to be turned into a conversation or discussion point. There's a few minor chuckles as they make fun of how things are done in porn versus real life, as well as some good reminders about communication and some basic position information, but that's it. I know I shouldn't expect much more than a couple reminders and very basic information when the feature barely lasts forty minutes, but sadly there's nothing about this release that impressed me at all outside of how cute the girls were. Sadly they seem to be little more than props here as they barely add anything to the conversations and let Scott run off at the mouth for most of the movie. I always go into instructional videos hoping for a great attitude and a few little tips, but How to Be a Better Love: Bedroom Basics is easily one of the weakest instructional releases I think I've seen in the last decade.

Final Thoughts: Skip It. There's a heck of a lot better instructional releases out there than this one that give you a lot more for your buck.

Note to Wicked Pictures: You've been doing a nice job with the little I've seen of the jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex series. Please don't bring down the quality of your instructional line with more releases like this in the future.
