The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio balance between the performers is normally nicely done, but there are a couple places where the level seems to change slightly. The video is very nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen, and looks very good. It's clear and well captured, with nicely done lighting.

Music: The music balance varies throughout the movie, but normally has a touch of an edge and is often a bit on the loud side.

Menus: The main menu works through a little generic animation with a few stills for an okay first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name(s) of the girl(s) in it.

The Feature

Currently, many Penthouse DVDs can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with several stores offering them for around $20. I'd aim a bit low here. The movie's light and very fun with good technical aspects, but with the movie barley lasting an hour and a half and just having a bonus scene for the only major extra the price point on this one seems to push it a little. This is a very nice movie, but the DVD as a whole could have used a little more effort to earn the price point.

Note to Penthouse: You're putting out some nice movies, but if you're going to price your movies like this please put a little more effort into your overall DVDs with a few more extras to try to earn the price point.
