Blu-Ray vs. DVD: As usual, Digital Playground tweaks things very slightly for the Blu-Ray. The movie and behind the scenes featurette are the same, but of course have superior audio and visual quality due to Blu-Ray's added capabilities. The menu style is changed in a very nice way, and there's fourteen trailers instead of eight. Finally, the photo gallery can be viewed only as a slide show and not picture by picture.

Audio /Video Quality: Just as one would expect with Digital Playground, the technical aspects show some very good care. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's well lit with a very nice presentation and a smooth hand on the camera.

The Movie: Escaladies 2 builds directly out of the events in Escaladies. Selena is living with her sister Ariella, and the two of them are determined to make plenty of money as whores while AnnMarie tries to get Selena on the right track as well as getting her own life on track away from her soon to be ex-husband Marco.

It's helped out all the more by some fitting music and classy locations, and of course the sexy outfits don't hurt either. For only having one scene in the movie AnnMarie definitely makes hers count, and turns out one of my favorite scenes in the movie while also doing a great job acting and turning out the most complex character in the movie. I'm sure some might be disappointed by how light the story is here, but that lightness left me fairly happy here as it means that there should be much more to come in this series. You can see that Selena has some scheming going on and wants it all, and AnnMarie is definitely not out of the picture. Escaladies 2 is a very nicely done sequel, and one that leaves me with a lot of hope for future installments of this well done series.

The Extras: Trailers are included for eight other Digital Playground releases. The photo gallery can be viewed either one still at a time or as a slide show lasting almost three and a quarter minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette and company information.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little under eight minutes. After a quick cast introduction, you get a little fun with Ariella as and after she shoots her scene with Charles. Things move on as Selena and Marco shoot their scene and have fun as well as AnnMarie showing off, chatting with Jamall, and taking on James. There's also a bit of time chatting with Selena and letting her show off before Charles gets a little extra action with her in the bathroom. Jamall continues around the set chatting with Selena and Ariella as well as getting some nice eye candy. This is a nice little behind the scenes featurette. It keeps things moving at a nice pace and does a good job mixing up personality from the girls with eye candy. This is a nice addition to the overall release.

Final Thoughts: As long as you watched the original Escaladies and enjoyed it, odds are you'll enjoy this worthy sequel as well. If you haven't watched the original, make sure you start there as this one builds off it nicely.
