Initial Expectations: Daniel Dakota blew me away with Stocking Secrets 11. I cant help but have sky high expectations here as well.

Initial Reaction: Its pretty good, but also weaker than what I expected.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear, but there are quite a few background noises. Thankfully theyre pretty quiet, and if you watch the behind the scenes featurette it actually pretty impressive how much they were covered up. The video is very well done. It has just a touch of softness, which works very well for the artistic feel of the movie, and is very well lit. This is a nice looking and sounding movie.

Music: The music is nicely done. The balance varies slightly throughout the feature, but keeps a fairly unique style that works for the scenes.

Menus: The menus are pretty good. The main menu blends a still with a little animation and nicely lays out the selections. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on the name of the girl and a small clip of the scene, and after you choose a scene lets you choose where in the scene you want to go.

The Feature

The Stocking Secrets series goes with a very simple idea. You start with a gorgeous woman wearing stockings and a little lingerie, a slip, or a nightgown. Then you let her slowly strip down and tease the viewer. The stockings are a part of the scene, but not necessarily a dominant part or the driving force behind the scene. Here, you get the beautiful brunette Bobbi Blair and the lovely blonde Malibu.

Scene 1 - Bobbi Blair

Bobbi, a cute long haired brunette with a dark complexion, starts things out in a white lingerie outfit with a lacy top and skirt, stockings, and high heeled shoes. She gives a slow tease under her skirt and top before sliding off her shoes and stockings. Bobbi breaks out a simple yet artistic white dildo, and takes her time teasing with it before sliding it into her pussy both lying back on the couch and standing up. She finishes herself off with the toy on all fours before talking about how much fun she had and inviting you back for more later.

This is a very nice scene. Bobbi is a definite looker, and she and Daniel keep a very nice pace to the scene. Bobbi takes her time, but she never feels like shes dragging it out unnecessarily and Daniel gets plenty of great shots of her body. Theres a nice balance between the masturbation and the tease, and it helps to give this installment of Stocking Secrets a nice start.

Scene 2 - Malibu

Blonde Malibu starts her first scene out in a silver corset with black accents, black fishnet stockings, and black shoes. She drops her top to show off a nicely enhanced rack, and slowly strips off her top and panties to show her bald beaver and pierced hood. Malibu rubs her pussy, and slowly works it up to a finger. She slides her stockings off before tossing them towards the camera to finish things up.

This is slightly above average scene. Blondes arent really my thing, but Malibu does have a nice body and great legs. I also love her outfit and how she keeps the scene a little more serious to separate it from Bobbis first scene. Her scene drags a little, but it still works.

Scene 3 - Bobbi Blair

Bobbi returns, this time in a sexy black bodysuit and black heels. She walks up a staircase and poses by a railing before moving inside to talk dirty as she shows off in her bodysuit. She breaks out her toy after a bit, but makes sure her fingers get plenty of chances at her slit as well. She strips off her shoes and bodysuit and then goes to work on her pussy with her fingers. Finally, she says that shell see you tomorrow, and makes it clear that its not open for discussion.

This is a great scene. Bobbi does a fantastic job playing to the camera, and she looks even better here than she did before. I love how she waits to strip off the bodysuit to the end of the scene, and how she mixed things up by going from the toy to her fingers. This is a fantastic scene, and easily my favorite in the movie.

Scene 4 - Malibu

Malibu starts out the final scene in a white corset, shoes, and stockings. After showing off for a few moments she pops her titties out and plays with them. Her pussys next, which quickly gets a finger, with Malibu taking her time to strip off her stockings later.

This is another scene that came off as fairly average to me. I dont know what it is, but I just couldnt get into Malibu. She isnt bad looking, but theres just something about her that makes me want to shrug and walk away. This was another okay scene from Malibu.

Stocking Secrets 12 is a very hard movie for me to rate. Daniel Dakota does a nice job with the camera work and puts the girls in some very nice outfits while moving them around the house to make their scenes feel unique. Bobbis scenes came off very nice for me, with her second scene being my favorite in the movie. The problem for me was Malibu. Shes a nice looking girl with a decent body thats been tastefully worked on rather than trying to set a new world record for silicone containment. She also appears to do a pretty good job in her scenes. All that said, I just could not get into her no matter how bad I wanted to. I think its because as a blonde with a bald beaver, a hood piercing, and implants shes so cliche that my mind wants to move past her to something unique. I really cant say what it is, but because of it, Stocking Secrets 12 doesnt make it too far beyond the above average mark for me.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Down Your Throat, Killer Grip, My Playtoy 3, Stocking Secrets 4, Stocking Secrets 5, and Stocking Secrets 9. The photo gallery lasts a little over three minutes with about eight seconds per great looking snapshot. Theres also internet information, a behind the scenes featurette, and an extra featurette on Bobbi.

Bobbis featurette is entitled Bobbi Blairs Real Orgasm and lasts about four and a half minutes. After Bobbi talks with Daniel about her orgasms and having a real one they shoot the scene. She sends everybody off to eat lunch after they shoot the scene, and then breaks out her bullet to work herself to a real orgasm. Its a nice little featurette, and a great extra that gives you plenty of personality and sexiness from Bobbi.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty minutes. Bobbi starts things out posing for still photos and having a little fun with it. Things move on to capture her in action as they shoot the scenes, and once again theres a little fun and a few minor outtakes. Of course Malibu gets screen time as well, with most of her footage being outtakes as she talks with Daniel as they shoot her scenes. This featurette didnt impress me too much. Bobbis section dragged, and it seemed way too limited in showing her personality. Malibu, on the other hand, seemed like shes distracted by anything even remotely close to a shiny object, and made the dumb blonde stereotype seem like a starting point. This featurette didnt do too much for me.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. Id rent this one before buying it. Theres some nice teasing, but Malibu just didnt work for me well enough to give this one a lot of replay value. The technical aspects are nicely done, and theres some decent effort put into the extras.

Note to Smash Pictures: Its nice to see you trying to make a substantial behind the scenes featurette. Concentrating on the girl as a person rather than watching the cameramen point camera at her would make it much better, even if it were much shorter.
