The Short Story

Initial Expectations: There's something about this one that drew me in, but I'm not sure what. I also can't help but have a little apprehension about this one for some reason.

Initial Reaction: It has a great idea and some great potential, but rarely harnesses it

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who doesn't care about quality camera work or who doesn't get motion sickness

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants nearly two hours of all girl action or well done camera work

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects leave most everything to be desired. You can hear the girls good, but you can also hear them being shouted directions from off camera and interacting with the people doing the shouting in the opening scene. Thankfully the rest of the audio was better, but with a first impression like that it's hard to be too impressed with the technical aspects. The video is presented in the full frame format and isn't much better. It goes with an artistic slightly washed look, which I can live with, but is also shot by somebody who insists on holding the camera themselves while possibly trying to shoot the entire movie while balancing on one foot. It's been a long time since I've seen a movie come out from VCA (be it under Hustler or not) that looked and sounded this unprofessional. There are a few times when I got the feeling that it was going for an alt-porn feel, but more often it just felt like incompetence.

Music: The soundtrack is credited to Muffy Ramone and is one of the best things in the movie. It's nicely balanced with the rest of the audio and varies a bit throughout the movie. It also varies its style throughout the movie which really stood out and helped some of the scenes.

Menus: The main menu isn't too bad, and moves from a little animation to a still with some okay background animation. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a title for the scene while a star index lets you choose a scene based on a clip of each scene and the names of the girls in it. Once you select a scene in the star gallery you're allowed to choose where you want to go in the scene sexually.

The Feature

In the year 2969 the world is ruled by sexually free women led by Big Sister. Sexually repressed women are in hiding but hunted down and brought to prison Alpha 15 where they are reprogrammed to embrace their lustful urges rather than keeping them hidden away. Justine Joli is one such girl who's been brought in and convicted of being a prude after being shown some of her repressed fantasies before she's sent to Alpha 15.

Scene 1 Daisy Layne and Vanessa Lynn

Dirty blonde Daisy decides that brunette Vanessa needs one final training exercise. The strip Daisy out of their little camoflagued outfits while kissing before she lies back to let Vanessa tongue and finger her twat. They strip Vanessa down so Daisy can tongue and finger her as she stands in front of her before they sixty-nine. This could have been a good scene. The setup for the scene isn't bad and the girls seem to be into each other pretty well. They also mix things up a bit. Unfortunately whoever's behind the camera seems completely unqualified as the camera work is plagued by excessive motion and the girls almost stop working on each other to listen to directions from whoever's behind it. This scene had potential, but just couldn't figure out how to make it work.

Scene 2 Genesis Skye and Justine Joli

Smoking hot dyed redhead Justine's rehabilitation begins in the shower with brunette Genesis. They kiss before Genesis has her suck her tits and gives her a few slaps for her shapely ass. Justine quickly kisses her way down to Genesis's pussy to give it a good sucking and licking as the water cascades over them before adding in a little fingering for Genesis's pussy as well as a bit of tongue and finger for Genesis's ass. She stands back up to let Justine finger her pussy and suck her tits before admiring Justine's ass and fucking her pussy with a glass toy. The girls go back to working on each other naturally while encouraging each other to choke them and finish things with a passionate kiss before the scene comes to an end.

For a girl who's supposed to be repressed, Justine sure does get into this scene. There's great chemistry between them complete with some great looks. The camera looks like it was trying to keep things softer by cutting out some of Justine playing with Genesis's ass, but with how much the girls seem to be into each other it doesn't really do too much good. With lines like Choke me you whore! from Justine, this just doesn't seem to be a scene about coming out of sexual repression. This is a darn hot scene, but also shows a definite lack of skill for casting and everything else on the basis of whoever directed this (whether it was Cat P. or Hollie Stevens).

Scene 3 Jayna Oso and Jezebelle Bond; Justine Joli

Justine takes on a black and white checkered tube top with matching panties to watch Oriental Jayna and tattooed Jezebelle go at it next. Jezebelle starts out in a mesh outfit on all fours licking Jayna's slit as Jayna sits back in some sexy black fetishwear. Jezebelle comes up to suck Jayna's tits and kiss her as Jayna's top opens before going back to gash gobbling, and then rolls back so Jayna can tongue her in return. This is another hot scene. There's great chemistry between Jezebelle and Justine, and they mix up the action nicely. The toy feels good for the scene, and I really like how they didn't just use it in one position and then throw it aside. Justine and the voyeurism aspect is really played down here, and if kicked up this would have been a very hot scene rather than just a hot one.

Scene 4 Gia Jordan, Hailey Young, and Justine Joli

Justine plays a little cards with brunettes Gia and Haley where she's told that if she loses the hand she'll have to kiss the others. She immediately folds on her royal flush and clears off the table so they can get down to it. Justine and Haley start out focusing on Gia as they strip down with Justine nicely focusing on the low road licking and fingering Gia's twat as Hailey watches, kisses her, and sucks her tits. When Justine moves over to work on Haley Gia comes around to lick her pussy before they team up on Justine down below. Gia moves up to ride Justine's tongue before the girls turn their attention back to her complete with Justine giving her some ass fingering and Hailey fucks her ass with a black buttplug. The girls also team up on Gia's holes with Justine joining in on Gia's pussy from below with a clear strap-on while Hailey continues to fuck her ass with the toy. Gia returns the favor working on Hailey's pussy before coming up to kiss her and letting the scene cut out.

This is a pretty good scene. I love the opening with Justine folding on a royal flush to get things started, and there's nice chemistry that flows through the scene to keep it going. Letting Gia get a bit nasty also helps the scene, but the editing seemed a bit more choppy here and the camera work left a bit to be desired again. This is a pretty hot scene which as usual, could have been better.

Scene 5 Daisy Layne and Justine Joli

When she's told she's free to go, Justine instead tells Big Sister that she's staying and to send somebody to get her. Daisy arrives moments later and they help each other out of their sexy boots as well as stripping each other down while kissing each other's tits and mouth. Daisy drops down to give Justine's pussy the first tongue lashing with Justine starting on her back and moving to all fours. She moves on to fuck Justine with a glass toy missionary style before Justine works on her from below orally. Daisy quickly turns it into a bit of sixty-nining and gives Justine's ass a little finger play as Justine works on her pussy with a glass toy. She gives Justine a little glass toy action as well before the scene ends feeling like there was still more to go.

This is an okay scene. There's decent chemistry between the girls, but the scene just feels generic. There was also something about it that left it feeling very limited. Maybe it was the lack of decent anal at the end for a movie that's supposed to be all about giving in to all your deep sexual desires. As a final scene, this could have been much better.

Alpha 15: Reform School Girls is a pretty good all girl semi-feature. It has a nice group of girls, and they all seem to be into girls quite well. It also made me wonder How much better could this be if BellaDonna directed it?. I have no doubt that she'd be able to do just as good of a job with the locations and costumes, but some of the Big Sister special effects might be cut down a bit. Beyond that, I think it'd probably be all uphill. I'm sure BellaDonna would be able to cast somebody better than Justine Joli as the lead here. Justine is fantastic to watch, but playing somebody who's repressed and comes out of it through a bit of re-education just isn't in the cards for her in this movie. She also doesn't give a feeling like she's completely opening up sexually which I'm sure BellaDonna could have cured. I'm also sure she could find somebody who was more competent behind the camera. I don't know if somebody had an extra five or six martinis with lunch when this was shot, whether he overdosed on cough syrup, or if he needed to be told which end of the camera to look through, but with the camera work here it very well might have been all three. I'm not sure if it was making a pathetic attempt at trying to be alt-porn or not, but whatever it is it just doesn't work. Finally, I'm sure that BellaDonna would have been able to make a movie that lasted the 110 minutes advertised on the cover instead of barely being able to make an hour. Alpha 15: Reform School Girls has some great potential. If only it had some body around who knew how to make full use of it this could have been a really great all girl movie instead of one that makes you notice all the things which could have been improved.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many VCA DVDs can be found online for between about $6 and $25 with many stores offering them for under $15. At the low end this one's a decent buy just for the bonus movie. As for Alpha 15: Reform School Girls, the sex has potential but it's rarely used well. The technical aspects suck and there's no real effort put into the extras despite people being credited at the end of the movie for working on it. This is a disappointing release.
