Initial Expectations: I normally avoid all the tabloid celebrity life shows, so I might not be the best person to review this one, but it also has the potential to be very fun and has me a little interested.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are well done. The audio is well done. Although there are a few places with the audio slightly out of balance and with a few minor background noises, it fits in with the tabloid TV style of the movie. The video also shows some good care. The presentation is always clear and the sex well lit, but lighting varies a little in some of the setups with the same tabloid TV style.

Music: There's no music during the sex scenes, and the little music that comes out during the setups is always very well balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu blends the boxcover with a still and a little decent animation for an okay first impression. The chapter menu is very generic and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip from each scene and a scene number. There's also a ?Select a Star? option that lets you choose a scene based on stills of the girls and their names.

The Feature

Hustler's Untrue Hollywood Stories series takes aim at some of those most hunted by tabloids and the Hollywood paparazzi, this time Jessica Simpson (played by Jessica Lynn). It works around the typical tabloid TV format with plenty of interviews of those around the star as well as mixing in plenty of sex.

Kiera puts out some nice energy and vocals, but with the weak chemistry in this scene it wasn't enough to save it. This ends up at the top end of an average scene.

Jessica dances around on stage with cute but fairly heavily tattooed Melissa to start the penultimate scene. They strip down as they go before checking each other out quickly and then sixty-nining. This is another okay scene. Both girls are gorgeous, and their tease to start the scene is easily the highlight of the scene. They get into each other nicely for the sex and there is a bit of chemistry there, but the sex just seems very limited and a bit forgettable. The strip tease on the bar, however, works very nicely with Melissa putting on a great show while Jessica tries to keep up. I don't know if Jessica is meant to look a little clueless during the strip tease for the role or if Melissa is just that good of a stripper, but either way it worked well for the movie and added a touch more humor while never sacrificing the heat. This scene starts off hot, but tapers off as it goes.

Rocco (aka Tony Romo) explains the theories about sex before a big game before explaining that he's decided to go for sex at halftime. This was a great scene to close the movie with.

Hustler's Untrue Hollywood Stories: Jessica Simpson is a fun and hot release. Yes, the sex does stumble a little in the middle with Jessica's lesbian scene and Kiera's Ashley Simpson scene, but even with those speedbumps in the road this ends up a very enjoyable movie with much of the credit going to Jessica. She looks fantastic in her every appearance, and also turns out a very nice scene to start things out with Johnny Castle. Surprisingly, the place she shines the most is in the setups. Yes, her looking hotter than heck helps, but she also plays the dumb blonde amazingly well and delivers plenty of great lines without batting an eye. This should make the movie for the tabloid TV fans every bit as well as it did for me, and the movie balanced it all very well with the sex. Hustler's Untrue Hollywood Stories: Jessica Simpson is a funny and very hot release that's definitely worth checking out.

The Extra Stuff

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about eight and a half minutes and features camera work by The Coach. Rachel starts things out in the makeup chair talking about her role in the movie as well as some of her other scenes before chatting with Rocco as Rachel finishes suiting up. Melissa Jacobs is next, who talks in the makeup chair about only having worked with girls on screen before Gracie has a little fun with her questions. There's also a few words with Jessica and a quick clip from the movie. This is a nice little behind the scenes featurette. It doesn't get too deep in any way, but The Coach does a nice job bringing out a bit of personality from each of the stars and makes this a light but fun featurette. This is a nice addition to the overall DVD.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Hustler?s DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25 with stores offering it everywhere in between. This one's worth the money. The setups are a lot of fun and the sex is normally nicely done and captured. The technical aspects show some good care and there's also a touch of care put into the extras. This is a nicely done release.

Note to Hustler: I'll readily admit to questioning the wisdom of pumping out parodies as you have been lately, but if you can keep this series up to this level I hope you keep them coming.
