The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty well done. The audio is clear and well balanced through most of the release, but there are several places where the audio seems to disappear for a moment and then returns. There's also a couple background noises which sound quite a bit like cell phone ring tones. The video is presented in the full frame format, and looks quite nice. There's barely any grain and although the lighting gets a little low in a few places, it never drops so low as to completely interfere with the scene or feel overly sloppy.

False Advertising: The boxcover lists behind the scenes among the extras, but I couldn't find any listed on the DVD. I'm deducting a half point from the overall score because of this.

Menus: The main menu nicely works together a clip of the boxcover, a little animation, and a clip from the movie for a pretty good first impression. The chapter menu is nicely done, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene as well as the name of the lovely lady in each scene.

The Feature

Mommy Dear Ass keeps things simple. Each scene focuses on one older woman with one guy. Going into the movie, I was drawn in by Darryl Hanah and Kyla Synz, but Syren and Porscha did every bit as great of a job throughout the movie. For the cast, the only thing that's really disappointing is the male cast. They all deliver a good hard cock and some good chemistry, but in the looks department they definitely lack a bit. As for the direction, Zak does a very nice job both capturing the action and getting the ladies to open up with their teases at the start of each scene. My only other complaint is that the 'mommy' angle could have been played a bit more. The girls are all dressed nice and sexily, but I think a more professional or homemakerish angle would have worked nicely for a couple scenes before they stripped off a layer to show the sexy things they were wearing underneath. Currently, many of Combat Zone's DVDs can be found online for between about $14 and $25 with most stores offering them for under $20. If you're a fan of anal MILF action, this one should be well worth the money. The sex is hot and pays some very nice attention to the entire sexual journey rather than seeing how quick it can get to the fucking and then drawing it out forever. The technical aspects are pretty good, but the audio dropping out now and then was more than a little annoying. Just as annoying is the lack of extras, especially since the cover looks like there was supposed to be a little effort put into them. This is a hot movie that could have used a little more effort towards the overall DVD.
