Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Wicked Pictures, the technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, with jessica's narration coming across nicely clearly as well as with a good balance that lets you hear the performers and some light music in the background. My only complaint is that during jessica's commentary during the sex scene portion of the movie, you only get to hear jessica and don't ever get to hear the performers. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very good. It's clear, nicely lit, and with a very smooth hand on the camera.

The Movie: Currently Wicked Pictures doesn't seem to think there's anything jessica drake can't do, and they just might be right. From fucking to acting to directing she's shown she can do it all, and now she's moving on with educational releases. Here she focuses on anal sex with the help of familiar porn faces as well as a couple fresh faces.

The couples start out talking about their first anal experiences, why it's a turn-on for some, and fears regarding anal. They cover warmup and different lubes before moving on with a bit of demonstration with jessica narrating the action. Deana and Ramon start out showing some non-penetrative anal warmup (including body worship, rimming, and non-invasive finger play) before Asa and Mr. Marcus take their turn with the same theme. They move on with more finger play and toys for warmup before discussing and demonstrating different positions. Things continue with real life couple Lyla and Jeremy who discuss their limited anal experiences before moving on to try for a better anal experience with a little help (as well as narration from jessica) as they move through the foreplay and anal sex right up to the pop on Lyla's ass. After the lecture, you can watch anal scenes featuring Asa and Mr. Marcus and Dana and Ramon either with or without jessica's commentary (in which she discusses shooting the movie and individual scenes as well as commenting on the action between the performers).

Dana and Ramon kiss, worship each other's body, and help each other strip down before Dana moves on to suck Ramon's cock. They move around into a modified sixty-nine before Dana gets on top for a reverse cowgirl ride with a little anal fingering mixed in. Dana moves on with the anal as she rides Ramon reverse cowgirl style before taking to her side to let him spoon her ass. Finally Ramon fucks Dana's ass doggie style before popping on it.

Asa starts out in a red bra and panties kissing a fully dressed Mr. Marcus on a bed and quickly lets him strip off her bra to suck her titties. jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Anal leaves me with some mixed feelings. Although I normally try not to mention releases put out by other companies, in this case I think it's fairly necessary as jessica's guide is a bit unique with some definite strengths and weaknesses compared to other anal sex instructional releases I've watched. Shane?s World: College Guide to Anal Sex is fun, but pretty much a joke as an instructional release on anal sex. Nina Hartley?s Guide to Anal Sex is one of the most clinical, but also keeps things pretty couples friendly through the demonstrations and is a very good beginner for those curious about anal sex as it does get fairly in depth. Tristan Taormino's instructional releases, The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex For Women and Tristan Taormino's Expert Guide to Anal Sex are easily the most complete and no holds barred instructionals on anal sex, and aren't afraid to get graphic at all.

This release, however, falls into its own category, and that's as the friendliest anal instructional out there. Yes, I know that can sound like a bit of a joke, but jessica and the cast does a very good job of making anal sex extremely approachable and normal both in the lecture as well as the very nicely shot sex scenes. They don't sugarcoat things too much, and although the instructional aspect is limited it does cover anal sex for beginners pretty well. If there's a complaint, it's that the movie might be a little too friendly and a little too afraid to get clinical or overly graphic about the ass. For example, although it's mentioned several times that the ass is a curved passage, but there's never any kind of diagram showing how, nor are there props other than toys when it comes to describing why certain positions and techniques might work better or worse than others. The only demonstrations are between the performers as they have their fun. I'll admit that the technical side could be a downer with Nina and Tristan's releases, but at the same time it is some very important information about an area where sex done wrong could cause some very major pain or even, in extreme cases, a trip to the hospital.

This limited aspect of jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Anal leaves me thinking of this almost as the first part of a two part anal instructional. This is a really great release to get rid of any fears regarding anal and to get the confidence up for couples who think they want to try anal sex but are a little unsure about how to do it right. The second part would be to pick up one of the anal instructionals from Nina Hartley or Tristan Taormino to make sure they have a much more complete understanding of what they're doing and why to make sure they have the best possible anal experience. They're two very important steps, and jessica does the first step so well that I can't help but like this release despite how limited some of the knowledge passed on is. jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Anal has some nice care and definitely has its place in the anal instructional realm, but it's far from the ultimate anal instructional experience.

The five minute bonus scene has Dana DeArmond demonstrating how to do an enema. She covers a little of the equipment along with dos and don'ts for preparation before moving around with positions and a demonstration while nicely talking her way through it all. This is a nice featurette. Yes, it's short, but Dana makes it nicely friendly and keeps things simple and focused. This is a good addition to the overall DVD.

Final Thoughts: As an extreme beginner guide to anal it does its job well, just don't expect a very in depth examination of the subject.
