The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As with most compilations, the technical aspects vary a little. All of the scenes are fairly recent here, however, so this release is much more consistent than many others. The audio is clear and pretty well balanced, but there are a few spots which are a bit hollow and a few minor background noises. The video is mostly shot in the full screen format, but the opening scene is in non-anamorphic widescreen (which I don't take quite as much offense to here as it is part of a compilation). It's normally nicely lit and free of pixelation, but there are a couple areas where it started to peek in for a moment or two.

Music: There's some music to a few of the scenes. Sometimes it's just for the start and other times it runs the full scene.

False Advertising: The cover lists a behind the scenes featurette among the extras, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the DVD. I'm deducting a half point from the overall score because of this. I'm deducting another half point because this is a compilation release that makes itself look like it's a brand new release right down to the behind the scenes claim on the back cover. All it would take would be a little ?Best of? logo or something to make it clear that this is a compilation, just like most everybody else does, and this would be a much more appealing release.

Menus: The main menu nicely works through a few stills of the girls before settling into a still with a little background animation. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a still of each girl and her name. There's also a positions menu to let you jump directly to specific sex acts such as blowjobs, cowgirl, or cumshots.

There's nothing on the cover to let you know that this is a compilation, and the ?First Timer & Cream Pie? claim makes it look much more like a new release. There's also nothing inside to let you know where the scenes actually come from. These are some darn good scenes and they come from darn good releases that I think people might check out if they knew what they were. With a brand new first timer cream pie scene I think a lot of people would still check this release out knowing that it's the only new scene in it, but making it look like it's a full new release when it's not is going to lose the trust of a lot of those people who might pass them by otherwise. Chicks Gone Wild 4 is a pretty good compilation release with a nice new addition.

The scenes are all well worth checking out and the technical aspects are nicely done. Sadly there isn't anything really for extras. This is a pretty good compilation.

Note to Smash Pictures: Adding a new scene into your comps is a nice touch. Now I hope you further tweak them letting people know where they can see the original scenes and that you give people a hint that it's a compilation (heck, even call it ?Comp +1? for the new scene) on the boxcovers.
