I happen to know that what follows is a very personal project for David Aaron Clark. AZN Super Idols Vol. 1 is a wild, surreal ride. It all has a unscripted, spontaneous feel to it which makes the viewer feel like a true voyeur as he watches. However, when you take the risk of making something this highly personal you also run the risk of alienating a part of your audience (funny, considering I just chided another director for NOT taking more risks). Hardcore fans of asian girls will no doubt like this show but for those who want more straight-to-the-point hardcore sex and have been basically trained on every other studios cookie cutter gonzo pictures, this will likely disappoint them. The scenes are extra long and are long on tease, while only three of the five feature hardcore sex. By the same token you have to admire Dacs bravery. I cant think of another director out there who would make a movie to chronicle such a tumultuous time in the industry and present it in a format that the average porn viewer would find extremely difficult to grasp. And therein lies the rub, because Joe Average isnt trying to think when he pops a DVD into his player, he wants to jerk off. If you can get past the story here and concentrate on the action, there is plenty of that here to keep you happy with two really hot bonus scenes as well.
