The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen, and looks very good. The picture is clear with smooth camera work and very nice lighting.

Music: The music is very nicely done, and rests very quietly in the background through most of the movie.

Menus: The main menu nicely blends the boxcover with a few clips from the movie. As usual with Wicked, the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter menu and doesn't give you anything really useful such as the names of the performers in each scene.

The Feature

This is a pretty good scene. Charisma is cute, and she and Danny look like they're having fun. There's some decent chemistry here, but the watcher aspect is put to the background a bit in this scene. I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing, however, as the last thing I want to see watching a porno is the movie going back and forth between a hot chick fucking and sucking and a guy watching them. This is another nicely done scene.

When Brad and Kirsten arrive at a masked swinger's party, they take a look around before Kirsten picks a couple to join up with and Brad sits back to enjoy the show. The Watcher is a very well made couples feature with a surprising amount of depth. While most adult films simply look at swinging as a way to bring more sex into a movie, The Watcher actually takes a look at some of the emotional baggage and the consequences to go along with it. Kirsten, who's impressing me more with every performance I see her in, and Brad do a great job as a couple struggling with some of the consequences and challenges to an open marriage, and come off as much more than just a two dimensional married couple. They're joined by a nice supporting cast, and the key word there is ?supporting? as they mostly seem to be there to help them deal with their relationship. The sex is very nicely done, and once again Kirsten does a great job with Asa Akira easily matching her. The Watcher isn't always a comfortable feature, which might not give it a lot of replay value, but it is a very well made feature that's worth checking out if you're even the least bit interested in it.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for The Watcher, The Marriage Counselor, Smart Asses, Just You & Me, 2040, Wicked Games, Spin the Bottle, and Never Say Never. The photo gallery lasts just over four minutes with about five seconds per very nice looking still. There's also a bonus scene and commercials.

The bonus scene comes from Uptown Girl. Kirsten and Tommy kiss and grope each other in the garage by his bike before Kirsten drops down to suck and stroke his cock. The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Wicked DVDs can be found online for between about $19 and $25 with most stores offering them somewhere in the middle. Aim a bit low or rent this one first. It's very well made with good sex from the cast and great performances from Kirsten Price and Brad Armstrong, but it's also not always the most comfortable movie and for that reason it might not have a lot of replay value. The technical aspects show very good care, but sadly there isn't much effort put into the extras. This is a very well done movie on a DVD that could have used a bit more effort.

Note to Wicked Pictures: There's no doubt about the amount of effort you put into your movies, but it would be nice to see a little more effort put into your extras.
