The Short Story

Initial Expectations: If there's a studio out there who does girl girl action as hot and consistent as Abby Winters, I haven't found it. I can't help but look forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: Once again Abby Winters shows why many consider them one of the best all girl studios out there.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although I didn't notice any background noises, there were a couple spots that seemed a little hollow. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen, and looks very good. It's clear with a few lighting imbalances, but the biggest problem was about eight and a half minutes into the second scene where you get about thirty seconds of a black screen with Media Offline.

Music: There's a moment or two of music at the start of each scene which very quickly disappears.

False Advertising: The cover lists both behind the scenes and interviews, which makes it look like these are two separate extras, while instead the behind the scenes featurettes are just interviews with the girls. This seems a bit misleading as it makes it look like there's more to the DVD and extras than what there actually is, and I'm deducting a half point from the overall rating because of it.

Menus: The main menu nicely blends a still with a bit of the movie for a nice style. You can also choose a scene from this menu, and after choosing a scene you're taken to a submenu to choose where you want to go sexually.

The Feature

When it comes to Abby Winters' girl girl releases, the 'formula' (if you want to call it that) is very simple. Start with real girls and let them play with each other adding as much passion as they can. Then sit back and see how many real orgasms emerge. Nothing about that changes in these two scenes as Violet takes on Fotina and Chloe B.

Scene 1 Fotina and Violet

Brunettes Fotina, in jean shorts and a red spaghetti strap top, and Violet, in a yellow top and black jeans, starts things out kissing passionately on a bed. They help each other strip down as they grope each other and kiss their way around each other's very nice natural body,Fotina eats her way to Violet's pussy first, and after a bit more groping and grinding fingers her pussy while licking her ass. Violet lays her back to tongue and finger her pussy in return, and then gets laid back to be eaten again. Not surprisingly, this is a darn hot scene. The girls are both hot and there's great chemistry between them. There's a nice balance between them sexually, and I love the ass eating and foot play that's mixed into the scene. There's also some very nice camera work and editing to capture the scene and keep it flowing well. This is a very hot scene that definitely starts the movie out right.

Scene 2 Chloe B. and Violet

Brunette Violet, in a little pink outfit, and redhead Chloe, in jean shorts and a white tank, start out the second scene kissing in the back of a van. They help each other start to slip out of their tops to kiss and suck each other's nipples, with Chloe aggressively going after Violet's tits before letting Violet have a bit more time sucking on her big beautiful boobies. Violet lays back for Chloe to rub her to a nice orgasm, and then after a little break Chloe lays back to let Violet return the favor. This is another great scene with one problem. I understand that things like the Media Offline screen about eight and a half minutes in (mentioned earlier in the reviews under the technical aspects) happen, but because of it I think this scene would have been much better included as a bonus scene with a minor explanation on that being the reason that it's there and the scene being too hot to throw away despite having the problem. This really is a hot scene even with that problem, as there's all the great chemistry that one should expect from Abby Winters. There's also a fun feeling, and you never even get the hint of a though that the girls aren't having a fantastic time. This is a smoking hot scene.

Girls Get Hot is a great all girl release. Yes, I realize that it only has three girls, two scenes, and doesn't even last an hour and a quarter and also realize that some people will pass it by completely because of it. That's definitely their loss, as this release is hotter than some all girl releases I've watched that have been over twice as long. It's a complete case of quality over quantity, and Violet, Fotina, and Chloe B. all deliver it without any problem throughout the entire movie. The action is heavy on kissing and petting, and while it never goes heavily after the gyno-cam shots it doesn't need to because the camera work captures everything going on between the girls so well. The only thing that holds this one back is the half minute of Media Offline, and even with that I can't get too down on Girls Get Hot due to how much I got into everything about the main feature. Girls Get Hot is a smoking hot all girl movie that I can't help but highly recommend.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Girls Turned On, Girls Loving Girls, Getting Off, and Sensual Intimacies. There's also a bonus Intimate Moments scene and the ability to watch the behind the scenes interviews on their own instead of being part of the scenes, behind the scenes featurette, and disc credits.

The behind the scenes featurettes can be viewed either on their own or with the scenes. Violet and Fotina's featurette lasts about nine minutes. The girls start out talking before the scene about how many scenes they've each done, what they think of each other, and some of the things they have in mind. They chat a bit more after the scene about how the sex was with Fotina being completely blown away by what Violet did to her, how many orgasms they had, and their plans for later that night. Chloe B. and Violet's segments last about five and a half minutes. Before the scene they talk about what works for them and their orgasm aims. During the mid-scene break they talk about Chloe's orgasm and plans for the rest of the scene. Afterwards they talk about the sex, how Violet compared to other first-timers she's broken in, and the location. This is a very nice pair of featurettes. You get plenty of personality from each of the girls, and it's easy to see that the chemistry really is there between the girls rather than just being there when the camera's running. This is a very nice addition to the DVD.

Bonus Scene Violet

Dark haired Violet starts out in a kinda gray spaghetti strap top with green and white polka dot shorts laying on her stomach and reaching down to touch herself. She rolls around and strips down as she lets her hands wander, and lies on her stomach and side as she lets her fingers work her clit with quite a few moans and little noises passing her lips. Finally, Violet settles back and gives her pussy a few slaps as she settles back in and the camera fades out.

This is a very nice bonus scene. Violet looks very nice, and although it's the standard Intimate Moments unmanned camera, it's aimed very well so you can see most everything unless Violet's laying on her stomach. She does lay on her stomach quite a bit, but it feels so natural that it's hard to get down on the scene too much because of it. The Intimate Moments line has been a bit hit or miss for me, but this one's definitely a hit.

Currently, most of Abby Winters' DVDs can be found online for between about $20 and $30, with stores offering them everywhere in between. This one's well worth the money. Yes, the main feature's short, but there's more heat here than in many movies twice as long. The technical aspects are well done with the exception of the video dropping out for about thirty seconds in the second scene, and there's some nice effort put into the extras. This is another great Abby Winters release.

Note to Abby Winters: Thank you for putting so much care into your overall DVD. Now please start listing an actual running time for your features rather than listing a total running time that includes things like trailers for movies people don't care about because they've already seen the movie.
