Initial Expectations: Ive been really impressed with what Ive seen from Nectar so far. Im going into this one with high expectations.

Initial Reaction: Its different from most everything else Ive seen from Nectar, and a bit weaker, but still works pretty well.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting blondes and fairly romantic sex

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a heavy emphasis on voyeurism

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Nectars movies, the technical aspects are on the artistic side. The audio varies throughout the feature, sometimes only having the music and sometimes having a decent balance between the music and performers. Regardless, you dont have to worry about hearing any background noises here. The video is also a bit artistic. It has a soft feel, and the lighting varies throughout the movie. It feels like a purposeful variation in lighting, and ranges from saturated overlighting to fairly dark shadows. Theres a bit of camera shake, but few other noticeable video problems.

Music: Rex Humbolt provides an extremely sexy score here. It varies between being the only audio and being balanced pretty well with the rest of the audio, and almost always enhances the scenes.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. Theres a little animation and a little bit of the movie in the background, and you can select which scene you want to go to from the main menu based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

Young Blonde Voyeurs concentrates on just that. The scenes revolve around somebody watching somebody else, which normally gets them going with somebody else. Its a domino effect, and it works nicely to set up the scenes here.

Scene 1 - Nicole Sheridan and Voodoo

While house sitting for a friend, Nicole decides to get it on with poolboy Voodoo. Scene 2 - Brittany Skye and Barrett Blade

Scene 3 - Nicole Sheridan and Brittany Skye

When Nicole heads to the bathroom to take care of herself after watching Brittany and Barrett, Brittany follows her in. She watches Nicole work her holes over with her fingers, and then lets her know shes there. Nicole immediately gestures for her to join her, and then lets Brittany work her mouth across her tits and down to her cunt. This is a pretty average scene, and at times struggles to get that far. The girls seem to be into each other pretty well, but the camera work holds it back, especially in the strap-on part of the scene. The camera seemed to want to focus on close-ups way too much, which I think might have been due to the cameramen trying to compensate for having too much natural light bleaching things out way too far. The scene is also hurt by having an ending that felt like the porno timer went off rather than having the girls finish things up by fully satisfying each other.

Scene 4 - Anna Nova, Cailey Taylor, and Chris Mountain

Cailey starts out the fourth scene showing what she brought over for Anna, namely a pink double dildo. They kiss and play with it a little before Cailey moves down to fuck Anna with it. Scene 5 - Yasmine and Vincent Vega

Scene 6 - Cailey Taylor and Chris Mountain

Finally, Cailey and Chris return for a little outdoor action. They dont bother peeping on anybody, but instead go straight to Cailey taking Chris as far as she can into her throat. This is another good scene that could have been better. I readily admit to being a foot and shoe freak, but this scene left me extremely disappointed. Young Blonde Voyeurs is a decent fuck flick. It has its highs and lows, and the biggest problem was that the lows were due to the camerawork and appeared in every scene. The camera work here heavily favored closeups, and as somebody who wants to see the reaction of the people in the movie to the actions rather than just the actions, I was disappointed at points throughout the entire movie. That isnt to say that the movies bad, as there is some very nice action here. Nicole Sheridan, Anna Nova, and Brittany Skye all deliver solid performances, and are easily the highlight of the movie, although the camera work and editing held them back a little in each scene to various extents. Cailey Taylors portions floundered due to the camera work, as did Yasmines. Young Blonde Voyeurs has a decent idea and assembled a good cast, but the little things held it back from reaching its full potential.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts nearly seven minutes with roughly ten minutes per very nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. Trailers are included for Illumination, Shades of Red, and Mystified. Theres also a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts just over ten minutes. It combines the scenes being shot, the performers relaxing and screwing around between shoots, and a few interviews. Its fun except for the guy behind the camera, whos more than a little annoying and seems to be the only one who laughs at his jokes. Cailey Taylor seems to be the highlight of the featurette, as she doesnt leave any doubt whether or not shes a natural blonde after trying to answer a few questions.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Nectars DVDs can be found online for between $20 and $30, with many stores offering them near the low end. Rent this one first, as it isnt up to the level of Nectars other releases. The sex varies, but the technical aspects are pretty well done and theres some good effort put towards the extras.

Note to Nectar Entertainment: Its nice to see you expanding your focus while still paying attention to the little details that make a well done DVD.
