"Bad" is probably the weakest John Leslie movie I have seen. Even weak John Leslie is usually better than 90% of the usual porn, but this movie is a true disappointment and deserves it's title. Still I have to say that weak John Leslie films are ten times better than weak Paul Thomas movies.

One of the problems of this DVD is that it is so edited down. IAFD lists the original as 82 minutes and the DVD version runs 67. Initial Expectations: I remember watching this when it first came out for two reasons - Ashlyn Gere and Madison. I don?t remember much of anything about the movie, but my motivations for seeing it haven?t changed.

Initial Reaction: The sex is good but everything feels very short.

Who Should Watch It : Fans of Ashlyn Gere and Madison, people with short attention spans.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who likes long drawn out scenes.

Audio /Video Quality: Bad looks and sounds every bit as good if not better than it originally did if memory serves. Both are very clear, looking and sounding better than many of today?s features.

Music: There isn?t music for every scene but when there is it?s the typical porno music from the early nineties.

Review: Bad is kind of surprising. In under seventy minutes, there?s eight sex scenes according to the cover. The way I counted I would have called it seven scenes, but the one scene could be considered two I guess. Of course this means the scenes are short, but they?re pretty well done for their length. There?s also enough time to have a story between the sex scenes. The main story in Bad has Mommy and Daddy Lauren Hall and Jamie Gillis) sending their daughter (Iesha, and no that?s not a misspelled Keisha) to an attitude adjustment center run by Dr. Deeeeeep (Joey Silvera) for some straightening out. At the center, she takes part in group therapy sessions with Marc Wallice (somehow I don?t think playing someone in therapy is much of a stretch), Tom Byron, Rayne, Madison, and Peter North and that are led by Ashlyn Gere. While Iesha is getting adjusted, Jamie is tied to the chair and forced to watch Lauren take on T. T. Boy and Randy Spears. There?s a little more to the plot, which is fun, but it?s small enough that I don?t want to ruin all the surprises.

The first close-to-full scene has Madison helping Iesha relax. Of course, this means some lip lapping which Madison always does in fine style. Surprisingly, Madison only gives here so we don?t get the pleasure of seeing her writhing and moaning in pleasure. It?s still a hot scene as Madison always performs with such great enthusiasm. This is the first scene I ever watched Iesha in and she does a good job. Her character seems fairly repressed and she carries it through the scene well. She isn?t at all dominant in the scene which fits well with Madison?s dominance. It?s a fun scene that makes good use of its short time.

As soon as Madison finished off Iesha she calls her boyfriend (Peter North) over for a little fun. Peter?s a little worried about Iesha sleeping in front of them but it takes almost superhuman powers to put off a ready and willing Madison. Sadly, Madison doesn?t get her pussy eaten in this scene either, instead going from sucking the North pole to having it pound away on her pussy. It?s another fun scene as they?re both trying to keep the other quiet while fucking away. Finally, Peter shows Madison what her back would look like if she were to have it stuccoed.

After the therapy session Ashlyn asks Iesha to stop by her office. Ashlyn tries talking to her but Iesha strips her down and forces her into a chair. Iesha wants a taste of Ashlyn?s pussy bad and I can?t say I blame her. Ashlyn?s pussy isn?t shaved but it is trimmed very nice making a nice compromise between shaving and having an afro that would make the seventies live again. There?s some nice interaction between the girls until Marc Wallice shows up. This is one of those cases where art imitates life. He plays a complete sleazeball who has Iesha stand aside and watch while he takes care of Ashlyn. If it weren?t for Marc Wallice this might have been a good scene. Ashlyn?s still there so it isn?t a total loss, but I would have liked to see Iesha join in a little. Sadly, she just watches from by Ashlyn?s desk until Marc blows his load on Ashlyn?s leg.

Sensing something wrong, Rayne agrees to take one for the team by fucking Marc while Tom Byron videotapes them for some blackmail material. Rayne does a good job here and I hope to find more from her in the future. She has some decent energy and resists the urge to throw up while looking at Marc Wallice. After he cums on her ass she kicks him out as would anybody else in their right mind.

Tom and Rayne also pay a visit to Dr. Deeeeeep (yes I know that I could have just said Joey but it?s a lot more fun this way) who?s giving some intimate therapy to Michelle Monroe. Dr. Deeeeeep is only in a few scenes of the movie but every time Joey came on screen he had me laughing. We join this scene as the good Doctor pumps away on her pussy before a position change or two and blowing his load on her ass. This is one of the most limited scenes in the movie but they both do a good job. Michelle has a great part at the end of the scene after Joey decorates her that really helps it out.

Finally, Tom and Iesha hook up. Iesha does a good job but she doesn?t set the world on fire. Tom is better here than in a lot of his other scenes since he hasn?t reached the point where he appears like a complete sleazebag. It?s another decent scene that fits in well with the rest of the movie.

Intermixed with the rest of the movie is the scene with Lauren, Randy, T. T., and a bound Jamie. The snippets of a scene are never long enough to amount to anything but we do get to see Lauren at work. Jamie detracts from the scene a little bit as he watches making a Richard Pryor concert movie look like Sesame Street.

Although not one of John Leslie?s best, Bad is still enjoyable. The cast does a good job and both the story and the sex are quiet good for their length although I would have liked everything to be a little more drawn out. Sadly, Ashlyn only has one scene, but she does a great job in it. Madison, however still steals the show for me and I hope we can see more of her films on DVD soon.

Extras: The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with about seven seconds per full screen photo. Despite their age each photo is very clear. The cast listing allows you to jump straight to the scene for Ashlyn Gere, Madison, Rayne, and Lauren Hall. Finally there?s a listing of other titles in the VCA Classics series, and internet and contact information.

Overall: Currently, Bad can be found online for between $20 and $25 with several stores offering it for about $20. If you?re a fan of John Leslie, Ashlyn Gere, or Madison it might be worth it but I?d suggest renting it first. The price seems a little steep for what all you get even though it looks and sounds great. It?s a fairly fun movie but I?m not sure how much replay it might get.
