The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are great. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice a single background noise. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen, and looks great. It's well lit and clear as well as very steady. This is the best looking and sounding movie I've seen in a very long time.

Music: There's a little light and fun music for the setups, but none for the sex scenes themselves.

Menus: The main menu works together a little animation with stills of the girls for a very good and fun first impression. The chapter menu is a bit generic giving you a clip of each scene and a scene number, but helps itself up by also giving the name of each girl in her scene.

The Feature

Babysitters is an all around great movie. It doesn't have the continuing storyline to make it what I'd call a feature, but at the same time it has a little much setup to be an all sex movie and there are a few of them that are lightly connected. Robby D. has been using this style a little bit lately, but it's never worked as well for me as it does here. Every one of the setups put a smile on my face or made me chuckle a little, and the cast all plays them with just the right bit of tongue in cheek to make them all the more fun. They do every bit as good of a job with the sex, which has a great mix of action. Anal, group, playful girl on girl (in a group situation), blowbang, intense girl on girl with plenty of toys, plain old passionate vaginal sex, cum swapping... it's all here and it's all done very well. Teagan fans should be especially pleased with her scene with Tyler since it lets her get back to putting her ass to work with a little nasty ass to mouth, but those who like the softer stuff shouldn't have to worry too much due to the more laid back feel of the entire movie softening it slightly. The only thing that held the movie back for me was the blowbang, and although it was done well I've rarely found a blowbang I can really get into even if it does have a sexual dynamo such as Sasha Grey doing it. By now people have learned to get their expectations up when Digital Playground sees how many contract girls they can throw into a movie. Robby D. fully meets those expectations and makes Babysitters one of the best releases Digital Playground has come out with in the last year.

The photo gallery can be viewed either manually or as part of a slide show lasting just over four minutes with about six seconds per great looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also a blooper reel, a behind the scenes featurette, and bios for Jesse Jane, Shay Jordan, Sophia Santi, and Teagan Presley.

The blooper reel lasts seven and a quarter minutes. The bloopers start out with several flubbed lines around Sasha's scene before a few flubbed lines in Jesse and Nikki's scene. There's a little sexual blooper from Sophia's scene before Tyler and Teagan struggle with their lines. There's plenty of difficulty with the lines for Sophia, Gina, and Ben, as well as between Jesse and Tommy. This is a pretty good collection of bloopers. A few sexually bloopers would have really helped it out, but there are some great outtakes mixed in. This is a nice extra.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts ten and a half minutes. Brah Bones introduces the BTS and the players before Jesse shares a babysitter fantasy of her own and Shay checks with Sammie for any of her babysitter fantasies. Currently, many of Digital Playground?s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. This one's well worth the money. The movie itself is very fun and filled with well captured sex with plenty of variety. The technical aspects show some great care, and there's some very nice effort put into the extras. If you're at all tempted by this one, make sure you pick it up.

Note to Digital Playground: I'm not sure what to say beyond ?Great job!?. This is the type of release I think many of us were waiting for you to bring out, and it's great to see you flex all your muscle on a ?plain? release rather than just on the Island Fever or big budget epic feature releases.

Graphically it was amazing what they came up with, using storyboard or cartoon box type shots for part of the opening credits and listing most of the girls as "the babysitter" was hilarious with a couple different titles for the girls playing wives or in Sophia's case a dominatrix!!
