The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are just as good as one has come to consistently expect from Digital Playground. The audio is clear and very well balanced, and I didn't notice a single background noise. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen, and has a slightly washed look that really worked well for me. It's very clear and well lit with a few shadows that work for the presentation rather than against it, and although there is a little very minor motion, the video has a slightly edgy feel and the motion fits into it well.

Music: There's a little music here and there throughout the movie. It's well balanced with the rest of the audio, and never sticks around for too long.

Menus: The main menu nicely works together stills with a little animation for a cool first impression. The chapter menu is a bit generic giving you a clip of each scene and a chapter number, but helps itself out by also giving the name of each girl for the first chapter of her scene.

The Feature

Digital Playground's Deeper series has focused on style more than plot, and often chooses a theme to build the movie around. Here the theme once again turns towards domination with a strong eye towards outfits.

Scene 1 ? Hannah Harper and Scott Nails

The cast looks very nice, and as usual, Celeste's eye towards the lingerie, shoes, and even the color schemes with the bondage gear help to give the movie a great look. That care towards the outfits for the cast is large part of why I've loved Celeste's work, since you always know that cast is going to look great. That isn't to say that the movie is all eye candy with nothing to back it up, as the sex is also very good. Austin's scene didn't do much for me and Bobbi's started out a little slow, but both of Hannah's scenes and Naomi's scene are smoking hot and barely ever let up. Throw in a nicely done camera style and editing that gives Deeper 8 a bit of an edge, and this release nicely stands apart from your typical porn movie while being every bit as satisfying if not more so. Deeper 8 is a hot movie with great style.

The Extra Stuff

The technical aspects are well done and there's some nice effort towards the extras. This is a very nicely done DVD.
