"Bad" is probably the weakest John Leslie movie I have seen. Even weak John Leslie is usually better than 90% of the usual porn, but this movie is a true disappointment and deserves it's title. Still I have to say that weak John Leslie films are ten times better than weak Paul Thomas movies.

One of the problems of this DVD is that it is so edited down. IAFD lists the original as 82 minutes and the DVD version runs 67. It is obvious that plot elements are missing and at times the movie makes little sense, unless you read reviews of the original VHS tape. The plot concerns a girl named Pat...

Finally someone has made a porno and taken the time to slap on the appropriate title. John Leslie's Bad is indeed bad. Not bad in the Michael Jackson 'it's good to be bad' way but bad as in I think I'll throw it out with an empty shampoo bottle, lint from my pocket, and other trash. Congratulations to Mr. Leslie for not misleading the porn buying public. The same praise cannot be given to VCA regarding the cover art, however, and bonus points go to anyone who can find the girls on the box in the video.

This 'classic' was shot on video and released in 1991, well past the golden age of porn. We do get some sort of a story, however weak and confusing it is:

Dark haired, natural-breasted Pat (Iesha) is sent off by her parents (Jamie Gillis and Lauren Hall) to Dr. Deeeeep's Attitude Adjustment Center. She needs to turn her life around but why and how are never explained. So off she goes and her parents quickly jump into their sex game. Jamie is tied to a chair and yells, rambling on and on while Lauren has sex with T.T. Boy and Randy Spears. Jamie says 'fuck' at least thirty times and is more annoying than he is amusing. I found the sex tiresome and couldn't wait to get to another scene. Unfortunately this is the only sex scene for the first 15 minutes. Even worse, this scene didn't finish and was interspersed throughout the entire movie, every time some sort of jump in time was needed. It's the worse scene in the movie and you can't get away from it!!!

At the center, Pat meets Dr. Deeeeep (and it's pronounced the way it's written, how clever). Dr. Deeeeep (Joey Silvera) hypnotizes Pat and later we find out that he is paid by Bobby Littlesquirt (Marc Wallace) to convince her to stop taking her pills so she will go crazy and be under Bobby's control. Why Bobby takes her under his control is unknown as he never really utilizes his power and how he knows about the pills is even a bigger mystery. (Confusing!) None of this is revealed until the end but without this knowledge, you don't know anything's going on because everything seems normal. If you don't understand, you're not alone. This is not one to watch for the plot!

If that's true then one would think that this is one to watch for the sex. While the sex is better than the plot (How could it not be?) it's still nothing to write home about. Here are the scenes:

1. Pat is massaged into a short lesbian scene by her roommate Jill (Madison). Pat falls asleep and Jill's boyfriend Jeff (Peter North) shows up. Jill does a striptease and sucks him. They have sex and Pat (unfortunately) does not wake up.

2. Pat seduces Miss Adams (Ashlyn Gere, far from looking her best) and Bobby (Marc Wallace) comes in and takes control. Pat and Miss Adams suck him and then he fucks Miss Adams while Pat watches.

3. Blonde haired, natural-breasted Joan (Rayne) is eaten by Bobby. She then sucks him and they fuck while Joe (Tom Byron with a crazy mullet) secretly videotapes.
Heat Factor: Below Average

4. Dr. Deeeeep and another blonde haired, natural- breasted girl (Michelle Monroe) have sex while Joe and Joan videotape them.
Heat Factor: Slightly Above Average

5. Pat and Joe have sex as the climax and ending of the film. Unfortunately the scen does not live up to the word 'climax.'

The scenes tend to run on the short side except for overarching Lauren Hall sleeper. The people for the most part are average looking. Alot of the girls have natural breasts, but not all. Pat (Iesha) has an ugly rose tattoo on one of her real boobs and that's about it. What else can I say because the title says it all, 'Bad.'

DVD Specifics:
The audio/video quality is good. The movie isn't that old and hasn't aged. There is a short stills gallery and a 'jump to a scene with' feature to take you to a sex scene with the female actor of your choice.
