Initial Expectations: After reading Flashs review, Im not expecting much.

Initial Reaction: If theres such a thing as purgatory, I think I just got about twenty years off my sentence for watching this one.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who loses a very large bet.

Who Should Avoid It: The tougher question is who shouldnt avoid it who possibly can.

Audio /Video Quality: I cant really say anything about the audio on the main feature, as there isnt really any. Its all a music track, which really annoys me as theres nothing overly artistic to the scene. As I watched the movie, the only reason I thought it was this way was because it was cheaper and easier than editing a real audio track. Id be hard pressed to come up with a single word to describe the video quality of Maximum Sex. Theres so many that come to mind, and amazingly theyre all four letters long. Theres a tremendous amount of pixelation to the main feature, with it getting so bad that I wasnt sure if I was watching a porno or looking at some abstract art in a museum. Its evenly lit, but is mixed between a camera being held by Nikko Night, which of course means some shakiness and other problems, and what looks like it was done with a jib. The only reason this DVD didnt get a goose egg for the technical aspects is because they actually figured out how to do things fairly decent for the extras.

Music: The music is kind of a new age rock beat thats actually kind of cool. Unfortunately, its the only audio to the feature.

False Advertising: The cover states that theres a behind the scenes featurette, but none is included on this DVD. Although its not shown on the cover, this disc also seems to be viewed as an interactive DVD, and is nothing of the sort. Its also listed as a five true multiple angle production, which is only available in the extras and not the main feature. This all seems very misleading to whats on the DVD, and Im penalizing the overall DVD a half point because of it.

Menus: The menus are pretty standard and on the cheap looking side. The main menu barely has any animation and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene for one of the extras only.

The Feature: Theres no story or anything else for the main feature. Its just a single scene between Nikita Denise and Nikko Night (I think).

The main feature has Nikita Denise taking on Nikki Night (I think). They exchange oral favors before Nikko fucks her missionary style. She takes a break to suck and stroke his cock a little between positions, and finally takes his pop on her tongue.

This scene is nothing but insulting and feels like it was done by somebody doing their very first DVD. Nikita looks like shes doing a good job, but with loud music and horrible video quality throughout the entire thing I could never get into it. There are only a few directors I can think of who wouldnt make reminding the viewer of abstract art while watching their movies a bad thing, and whoever did this movie isnt one of them. It does try to get artistic by mixing the angles together, which would have worked pretty well if they could have figured out how to make it so the picture didnt look like it was moving Legos. Everything about Maximum Sex feels shoddy, and Id suggest it be shown in prisons if not for the ACLU.

Extras: The interview with Nikita Denise lasts about two minutes. She talks about sex, including what she likes and where she likes it, wanting to come to America, what she likes in a man, and what she does for fun. Theres also a couple bonus sequences with Nikita, weblinks, a minute and a half photo gallery with about four seconds per nice looking snapshot, and 5 camera sex.

The first bonus sequence is a four minute strip tease from Nikita, which is done with three cameras. Youre shown one camera in the top two thirds of the screen, while the other two are shown smaller in the corners of the bottom third of the screen. Its a nice little tease and dance that captures Nikitas body very well. Theres also a masturbation sequence that lasts about four and a half minutes, and looks like it starts immediately after the strip tease. In it, Nikita sucks her tits a little and fingers herself. Its a nice little masturbatory sequence, but nothing too special. The biggest problem with these sequences is the music is extremely repetitive and very annoying.

The 5 Camera Sex featurette lasts about forty two minutes, and shows the five cameras that were used for the disaster thats referred to on this DVD as the feature. Unlike most multiple angle features, you can see all of the angles at once here, with the main angle taking up about three quarters of the screen and the remaining four resting below it. This seems almost like a behind the scenes feature, as you get to hear the performers being given directions and a bit of background noise as well as the audio from the stars that you didnt see in the main feature.

In addition to being longer than the main feature, its also done better. I would have been much happier with this DVD if this feature would have had its audio edited professionally and the feature here would have been used as an extra to show how many cameras can be edited together to make a scene. It would have also been better if the camera angles stayed with the same angles throughout the scene, as I think they changed a couple times throughout the feature.

Themes: Straight and masturbation

Raincoat Factor: Theres no plot, which would normally qualify for a very high raincoat factor, but its so poorly done that I cant help but give it a low raincoat factor

Condom Usage: None

Overall: Currently, Maximum Sex can be found online for between $15 and $28, with a couple stores offering it near the low end. If you even think about paying that much for this DVD and live in Florida, I think youre going to need some help at the next election. There is no redeeming factor whatsoever to this DVD outside of it having Nikita Denise in it, and New Machine seems to be trying their best to ruin that.

Note to New Machine: Please take whoever made this DVD, drive them out to the middle of the desert, hit them over the head with a blunt object, push them out of the car, and drive as fast as you can away from them.
